On 23 and 24 March 2011 was held the event "Prosecco, more than a wine, a culture”, two days dedicated to our fine Sparkling at the European Parliament in Brussels.
Thanks to Meps Giancarlo Scottà e Antonio Cancian, in collaboration with the Veneto Region, the Province of Treviso, the Consortium for the Promotion of Tourism "Marca Treviso", the consortiums Prosecco DOC, Prosecco Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG and Asolo DOCG “Forum Spumanti d’Italia”, has been promoted greater protection of designations of origin, as the Prosecco is the wine most imitated in the world, as it is also one of the best!
The Cantina Montelliana is one of the most promoting members of the Consortium for the Protection of the Asolo DOCG, which is our reference point along with the new consortium for the protection of the DOC Prosecco.
